JAMES HENRY DENORER It is with great sadness, the family of Jim Denorer announces his passing on December 18, 2008 at St. Boniface hospital, family by his side. Jim was born in Portage La Prairie November 2, 1938. He left at an early age working at various jobs throughout the years. In January 1979, he started work at Air Liquide Canada and was there until his retirement in 2000. In his retirement years, he found he had more time to spend with family and became a very handy babysitter for the grandchildren. His favorite times were all the family gatherings and camping. He enjoyed a good game of cards and all the country dances and never missed his Thursday night bingo. As well, in the past year, started curling for the first time in his life, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann; daughters, Cheryl (Brent), Sheila (Richard), Judy; son Jamie (Cherie) and grandchildren, Rachelle, Nicole, Jared, Brett, Bradley, Miranda, Kayla, Emily, Jordan and Brooklynne and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Palliative Care for all their support, care and compassion, especially nurse, Olga. A memorial service will be held at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Steet on December 23, 2008 at l:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the WRHA Palliative Care Program, St. Boniface General Hospital, A8024 - 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg MB R2H 2A6.
